The Overland Guide Association is a group of like minded individuals who work professionally as Overland Guides or are involved in the industry through training or research.

We believe that by working together we are able to improve our industry, promote Good Practice and set standards that will improve safety and professionalism.

The OGA was founded in 2019 after several years of work by its members providing training and technical advice within the industry.

For many years the idea of a trade association was discussed. It has now happened and we hope to help our industry grow and mature.

The core team behind the OGA are made up of

JP Dixon – with a background in Outdoor Activites and experience of global adventures

Kelvyn Skee – years of experience as a commercial guide, motorcyling across Europe, and parts of Africa and Asia

Damian Rawcliffe – Experienced Event Medic in Motorcycle activities

Sarah Palfreyman – Clinical Advisor

There are also many active members who help to volunteer and support the work of the Overland Guide Association in promoting best practice.
