A three-day course for experienced guides ready to take command of complex, multi-day off-road motorcycle expeditions. The focus is leadership, judgement, and operational decision-making — not riding ability.

Leadership Orientation & Client Analysis
Introduction to the shift from guide to expedition leader. You'll begin working through a realistic expedition plan, analysing the client group and route.

Expedition Planning & Leadership Development
A full day around building specific skills as expedition guide - including communication under pressure, managing difficult behaviour, logistics, route suitability, and the psychology of keeping yourself operational.

A live scenario in darkness. Assessed on collaborative leadership, not individual command.

Conflict Management & Daily Operations
Legalities and logistics of remote travel, day-to-day expedition running.
Before you arrive / Pre-requisites
OGA Level 2 certification required — technical riding is assumed, not assessed
FREC 3 + WMT Advanced Medicine or Remote Adventure Medicine Level 1 or equivalent.
Excellent Navigation Skills and planning skills in areas where mapping and planning is not straightforward..
Has evidence of 3 independent Overland Expeditions in developing countries or has worked/assisted as a Guide in developing countries.
Client portfolio pack issued in advance — review it before Day 1
Expedition route pack (Morocco GPX, distances, logistics) issued for pre-reading
